If you want to try something different when it comes to eating bread, we suggest that you should make corn bread at home.
It will be very simple if you follow our instructions for making it.
What do you need for corn bread?
You will need:
– 250g of corn flour
– 250g of wheat flour
– a piece of fresh yeast (40-50g)
– a flat teaspoon of sugar
– a flat teaspoon of salt
– a half of the bag of baking powder
– 4dl of milk
– a little oil
Mix well corn and wheat flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Then cook 3dl of milk and when it is over, melt yeast in it and add 1dl of cold milk. Slowly add the mixture of milk and yeast to the mixture of flour and the rest of the ingredients and make dough. Leave it for an hour to grow. After an hour, knead the dough again, dust it with a little bit of the mixture of corn and wheat flour and make a bread form. Then put it in a baking pan, which you greased with oil and dusted with a little wheat flour.
Put the baking pan in the oven and bake it for about half an hour, until it gets the colour and crust you want.
When the bread is over, take it out from the baking pan and wrap it in a kitchen cloth. When it cools down, slice and serve it with a meal you want.
If you want, you can add flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, etc to the dough.
You don’t need to respect these proportions of corn and wheat flour. For example, if you aren’t still used to the corn flour taste, you can use 350g of wheat flour and only 150g of corn flour. Or if you like the corn flour taste, you can do the vice versa.

Corn bread is digested easier and faster than wheat bread. It contains much less gluten, so the risk of allergic reactions is lower. Moreover, as this bread is perfect for indigestion, it’s recommended for diarrhea and bloating.
