Though it is called rice diet that does not mean you will eat rice, more rice and rice again.. Infact, the selection of viands is by far greater than you would assume! Meals are simply divided into categories (it sounds familiar, doesn’t it?) – starch, skimmed dairy products, vegetable meal, fruit and non-fat meat meal. Program is also focused on limited intake of salt and fats (specially saturated ones – i.e. those of animal origin) with the goal of detoxication of organism, so this is a great detox diet too. This diet is not about calories monitoring, instead it is based on size of the meals from a certain category. Basically, this means that the intake of wholemeal cereals, pulse, fruit and vegetables is increased while other viands’ intake is reduced, or they are to be avoided. Naturally, selection of viands plays a very important part so it is advisable that they are organic – grown without pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and other chemicals which increase quantity of grown food but later increase the risk of different diseases in our organism. - 1 vegetable = 1 cup of uncooked or ½ cup of cooked vegetables
- 1 dairy meal = 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of yoghurt or ½ cup of cottage cheese
Once again; -take as less salt as possible Salt in organism binds water – we all know that. Most people daily take in about 0, 14 – 0, 24 ounces a salt, though sufficient quantity for normal functioning of organism is 0, 017 ounces. Salt is unhealthy for the patients with high blood pressure and kidney disease, and people who take greater quantities of salt are at greater risk of these deseases. Salt stimulates the appetite while spices only make food tastier. Limiting salt intake decreases health risks,cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, and body weight and it also decreases the need for treatment od the mentioned probems. – and little fats! Aside from little salt, rice diet also contains little fats – 0,17 ounces or less. 0, 7 ounces of proteins and not more than 0, 005 ounces of calcium.
Why conduct this diet?
If you have health problems related to hearth, kidneys or liver – they will be either be resolved very fast, or will be significantly decreased. If you have excess weight and these problems – you will get rid of both. If you are conducting it to lose weight this is an excellent weight loss diet which will also help you to „check“ your organism and detoxicate it.

It is very demanding. It requires your engagement in searching for quality viands, cooking them, dividing them into small meals, wholemeal cereals..
